    Loss…

    A dear friend of mine, Mike, passed away today… quite unexpectedly. He was 38. We have known each other for 30 years…

    We grew up with each other… he was the first boy I ever kissed who wasn’t a dad or a papa.

    We don’t know what happened. His girlfriend came home at lunch this afternoon and found him dead on the floor. The autopsy is scheduled for 9pm this evening.

    There are so many memories… so many… I can’t begin to choose a favorite. I still have a scar on my knee cap from when we had a bicycle accident. He’s been a part of my life for so very long, ever since I can remember…

    Tonight… hug your oldest and dearest friend tight… you never know how long you have with them!
